Projects

Whether it’s a single property or an urban district, our projects are unique – thanks to newly conceived concepts, smart and energy-efficient technologies, a comprehensive range of services and high architectural and design quality.

AIM

Kaufingerstrasse 11a and 13 as well as Fürstenfelder Strasse 1 and 3 in Munich are being transformed into a high-quality mixed-use building through a comprehensive redevelopment concept. Originally used as a C&A location, the building is now being transformed into a mix of offices, retail, restaurants and apartments. Office space on the upper floors will bring workplaces to the heart of Munich, while retail and gastronomy will enliven the lower floors. The restructuring of the circulation cores maximizes space efficiency and an atrium provides light in the office areas. The roof terrace with views of the Alps and the Frauenkirche are outstanding highlights. The project aims to bring life and work back to the city center by ideally combining a historic appearance with modern usage requirements.

Die Macherei München

In fall 2022, after almost five years of development, the urban office and business district DIE MACHEREI MÜNCHEN was officially opened in the Berg am Laim district. With around 75,200 m² for offices, stores, retail, restaurants, a design hotel and a fitness studio, an ensemble of six buildings with a central square has been created. The centerpiece is the “incubator building”, which is designed as a start-up and co-working hub. Close to the city center with an established infrastructure and excellent transport links, DIE MACHEREI MÜNCHEN was the first district in Germany to be awarded the LEED Gold sustainability certificate for planned urban districts (“LEED Neighbourhood Development”).

HERZOG MAX

Like the town hall, the building is part of the cityscape of Munich’s pedestrian zone: after many years of occupation by the tenant Karstadt Sports, the building at Neuhauser Straße 20 is given a new purpose. In close liason with the authorities and in particular with the protection of historical monuments, a new, daylight-flooded interior concept is being developed that meets the highest architectural standards. The traditional building associated with the Karlstor will sustainably strengthen the city centre as part of a comprehensive development and repositioning as a modern, flexible and third-use mixed-use property.

The Stack

A timber-hybrid office building designed to the highest sustainability and technology standards is being built in Munich’s most urban and vibrant district around the main railway station. The unique architectural design is complemented by innovative highlights inside: multifunctional rental spaces form the basis for a future-oriented office world “of tomorrow”.
